Banyan Golf Club
Hua Hin’s Banyan Golf Club, to the south of the popular holiday resort, is touted as one of the top three courses in Thailand. Featuring stunning sea and mountain vistas from many of its holes, this championship course also boasts exceptional clubhouse facilities and comes with a five-star resort and top-notch hospitality.
The 7,361-yard Banyan Golf Club was designed by Pirapon Namatra in 2008 and has quickly risen the ranks through such accolades as Best New Course In Asia Pacific, 2009 (Asian Golf Monthly) and was included in the Rolex Top 1000 clubs in the world. These achievements have come about from the gorgeous layout of zoysia fairways, fast Tiff eagle Bermuda greens and well placed water hazards and bunkers.
Buggies come with GPS and there’s a good driving range and practice greens on site, while the contemporary clubhouse has impressive pro shop and changing rooms that come complete with rain showers. There are also a couple of restaurants on site with Thai and Western food, together with a pub with course views.
Visitors can also make use of massage and spa services at the Banyan Golf Club, which also features meeting facilities. The club is just minutes from Hua Hin, where there is ample accommodation, from budget to first class. Some golfers include a round with a visit to the nearby Khao Takiab Beach and the lofty Wat Khao Takiab.
