Bangkok Helicopter Charters
Rapid transport by helicopter charter is possible all over Bangkok during the day, with helipads dispersed throughout the Thai capital. Whether you’re looking for a quick transfer from the airport to your hotel, plan on a sightseeing trip, getting to a golf course fast or even to hospital, we partner with helicopter companies to take away the stress of slow, overland travel and convoluted booking processes.
Getting from Suvarnabhumi International Airport to a city hotel is one of the most popular Bangkok helicopter charter packages. Several Bangkok hotels have helipads and there is often a tower within reach if not. An airport transfer can include being met off the plane, fast-tracked through Thai immigration, use of the charter firm’s lounge and onward helicopter travel.
We can also tailor helicopter transfers from the older, Don Muang Airport to the north of the city. Extra services with Bangkok helicopter charters may also include a police escort, transfer direct to a golf course around the city, or being whisked off to an island retreat. Several of Bangkok’s private hospitals also have helipads.
Bangkok sightseeing charters allow you to get a better perspective of the city in air-conditioned comfort away from the crowds. Flights typically go over the Chao Phraya River, taking in iconic attractions like the Grand Palace, Wat Arun and the Thon Buri canals. A standard, hour-long flight can also go via the Ancient City and Phra Samut Chedi, south of Bangkok.
The twin-engine Eurocopter EC135 and EC145 helicopters are used by many operators. These quick, powerful and spacious choppers can carry five and eight passengers respectively, along with suitcases and golf bags. They utilise two pilots and crew, have in-flight amenities and even a personal assistant.
Along with the operation centres of the charter firms, many of Bangkok’s towers and top hotels have landing pads. Both the Charn Issara II and UBC II towers have helipads, along with the Peninsula Bangkok Hotel and the Amari Atrium Hotel on the riverside. Alternatively, the Rajsingkorn Pier pad provides access to the southern part of the river, while the Radisson Hotel is right in the centre of town.
For conventions, the Bitec Convention Centre has a helipad, along with the Bangkok City Tower for Sathorn Road and the business district at Silom Road. Notable Bangkok hospitals with helipads include the Bangkok Hospital, Bumrungrad and Smitivej, though you’d typically need to be a pre-booked patient to use them.
We can arrange flights and transfers to any of these points in Bangkok. Along with helicopter travel, we can also take care of your accommodation in Bangkok and Thailand in general, as well as sightseeing tours, golf course bookings, tickets for shows and more. Bespoke Travel can tailor packages for individuals to groups of eight.
